Harrowing History

Back for a second season September through November 2021!

Bordentown is full of dark deeds and a hidden, sometimes gruesome past. Harrowing History peels back the town’s charming exterior and takes a hard look at the City’s darker, tragic happening. You may think you know your local history, but we’re willing to bet you don’t know these tales.

Join us for an evening of macabre entertainment! Six more of Bordentown’s most shocking 19th century true tales will be brought to life in an evening of theatrical storytelling, presented by the Bordentown Historical Society.

Costumed storytellers will transport you back in time to reveal stories about murder, mayhem, and tragedy as reported at the time. This performance will give you goosebumps, thrills, and perhaps even a few laughs.  You may have heard the rumors, now hear and experience the truth behind many of those stories.

Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased online here.  Tickets will not be available for purchase on-site. Attendance is limited.  People will be seated according to ticket purchases.  Groups will be seated together.

Show-goers will have the opportunity to purchase treats and refreshments 30 minutes before the performances.
